For more than a decade, Céline Moinet has ranked as one of the leading oboists in the world. Her concerts receive rave applause by audiences and critics alike.

Céline Moinet is in demand as a soloist around the world. She has appeared at the Salzburg Easter Festival under Christoph Eschenbach, at the Pacific Music Festival under Fabio Luisi, and with the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra at Suntory Hall, Tokyo. She also regularly tours with renowned chamber orchestras, including the Kammerorchester Basel and Dresden Kapellsolisten. As a chamber musician, she has performed at major festivals and concert halls including the Vienna Musikverein, Wigmore Hall, and the Bath International Music Festival.

Born in Lille, France, Céline Moinet completed her studies with highest honours at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris under the tutelage of David Walter and Maurice Bourgue. Subsequently, she joined the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and the orchestra of the National Theater of Mannheim. At just 23 years of age, Céline Moinet won the prestigious position of solo oboist at the Staatskapelle Dresden. Since then, she has performed with eminent conductors such as Christian Thielemann, Zubin Mehta, Claudio Abbado and Andris Nelsons. She has also been a guest of major orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra.

Her recordings of works for solo oboe, on the Harmonia Mundi label, have been praised by the critics and achieved outstanding sales. As a result, Céline Moinet was invited by renowned TV Network Arte and Rolando Villazón to appear on the show “Stars of Tomorrow”. Her latest albums, released by Berlin Classics, include Schumann’s Romances for Oboe and Piano as well as oboe concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Céline Moinet is a Professor at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden, and she gives master classes in Europe and in Japan. She is an exclusive artist of Marigaux, Paris.
